Uniswap founder Hayden Adams has condemned fraudulent crypto advertisements after a victim reportedly “lost everything” to a scam. Adams criticized social media platforms for allowing deceptive ads that impersonate legitimate projects and lure users with false promises of high returns. The victim was allegedly tricked into transferring funds to scammers posing as trusted crypto services. Adams urged stronger ad verification standards and user education, warning that unchecked scam promotions continue to damage trust in the crypto ecosystem and harm unsuspecting investors.
