Tether has invested $100 million in Anchorage Digital, a federally chartered U.S. crypto bank, taking a minority stake that values the company at about $4.2 billion. The investment deepens an existing partnership between the two firms and reflects growing confidence in regulated crypto infrastructure. Anchorage provides custody, staking, settlement, and stablecoin services to institutions. Tether said the deal supports its strategy to strengthen compliance, transparency, and institutional adoption of digital assets.
