Scammers are using a fake Gemini AI chatbot to promote a fraudulent cryptocurrency dubbed “Google Coin,” tricking users into sending digital assets. The counterfeit website mimics Google branding and features an AI assistant that delivers convincing investment pitches, promises unrealistic returns, and creates urgency to push victims into quick decisions. Once payments are made in cryptocurrency, funds cannot be recovered, leaving buyers with worthless tokens. Security experts warn that AI-powered impersonation scams are rising, urging investors to verify platforms and avoid guaranteed-profit claims.
