Chen Zhi, a Chinese-born Cambodian businessman and founder of Prince Holding Group, has been accused by U.S. authorities of masterminding a $14 billion global crypto scam. Prosecutors claim he ran vast “pig butchering” operations—using coerced workers in Cambodia to lure victims into fake crypto investments. The U.S. seized over 127,000 bitcoins, froze his assets, and labeled his network a transnational criminal group. Despite the indictment, Chen remains at large.
