Hyderabad Cyber Crime Police arrested a key accused in a matrimonial crypto scam that duped a city resident of over ₹11 lakh. The suspect, a native of Visakhapatnam, was intercepted at Chennai International Airport while returning from Cambodia. Police said he created fake matrimonial profiles posing as a woman and lured the victim into investing in a bogus cryptocurrency platform. The case has been registered and further investigation is underway. Authorities are tracing financial trails and accomplices in the network.
