Crypto startup M0 raised $40 million in a Series B round led by Polychain Capital and Ribbit Capital, with participation from Pantera, Bain Capital Crypto, and Endeavor Catalyst. Founded in 2023, M0 has now secured nearly $100 million in total funding. The company builds infrastructure for application-specific stablecoins, separating reserve management by regulated entities from programmability controlled by developers. Its platform enables full customization, interoperability, and unified liquidity. M0 already powers MetaMask’s mUSD stablecoin and aims to serve as a foundational “base layer of money” in digital assets, expanding adoption of programmable, interoperable stablecoins across decentralized finance ecosystems.
