Robinhood’s Petition Reaches 501K Signatures
Shiba Inu (SHIB), the fastest-growing meme coin, is increasing the uproar for Robinhood Markets Inc. to list Shiba Inu on its platform.
A petition termed Change.org is being signed asking the platform to, list SHIB. According to the report, the petition has now reached more than 510,000 signatures. Watcher. Guru a prominent Twitter account sharing news about Crypto and NFTs tweeted about this.
The past few months have been a good time for the SHIB community. Many Crypto exchanges have seen the potential of SHIB and listed the coin on their platforms like Coinbase Pro, Binance, and recently, Kraken.
This drove the coin towards its ATHs. Besides, the petition Change.org can be seen as a factor in this. Vlad Tenev, Chief Executive Officer at Robinhood, asserted that the firm is “carefully considering adding new coins to its offerings.” Adding further he said, “We feel very very good about the coins that we’re currently listing on our platform and any new coins that we add we want to feel equal, if not better.”
Moreover, the SHIB army has proved to be the strongest among its community. With this great number of signatures in a petition, are yet to see how Robinhood will decide on this matter. Presently, SHIB still sits at 11th rank at CoinMarketCap and trades at $0.00005784.
