Indian Crypto Exchanges Delist Luna From Their Platforms
Crypto exchanges in India such as CoinDCX and WazirX are delisting Terra (Luna) after a nearly 100% fall in the digital asset in just 1 week.
Last Saturday, Luna was trading around the $80 level but it dropped to the $0.00002446 level on Friday afternoon, showing a near 100% fall in its value. During this period, the market capitalization of the token fell from around $30 billion to around $6 million.
India’s biggest Crypto platform in terms of trading volume, WazirX notified its users that they are delisting Luna/USDT, Luna/INR, and Luna/WRX pairs.
“We will enable Binance free transfer for users to withdraw their Luna funds."
The decision was taken after WazirX’s parent Binance announced the delisting of Luna/USDT contracts as the price slumped below the $0.005 level.
India’s another Crypto exchange, CoinDCX, also announced the delisting of UST and Luna from the CoinDCX app with immediate effect.
CoinDCX added, “Kindly note that users can continue to trade the above assets using other trading pairs available on CoinDCX Pro and CoinDCX Web Platform."
Similarly, Unocoin and BuyUcoin have also suspended trading in Luna. However, the token is still trading on Bitbns, while terraUSD (UST) is not listed on the platform.
On Thursday, the Blockchain of Terra halted after its token Terra (Luna) fell in value to below 2 cents despite trading at about $80 one week ago.
