Dogecoin Co founder Intends To Get Twitter To Launch DOGE Tipping
The Dogecoin Co-founder, Billy Markus, has tweeted that he intends to raise the topic of the Twitter team implementing DOGE tipping following tipping in Bitcoin and Ether every day until his goal is achieved.
Billy Markus tweeted that he plans to post at least one tweet every day with the #DogeTwitterTipJar hashtag to attract the attention of the Twitter team.
Markus said that the Twitter CEO is on paternity leave, so he will keep bugging Twitter until they consider DOGE for leaving a tip on Twitter.
He also mentioned the main character of the popular movie "The Shawshank Redemption" based on the novel by Stephen King—Andy Dufresne where he referred his short monologue in the movie about the hope that can be kept inside no matter what, where no one can get to it.
Many followers started supporting Markus in the comment thread and volunteering to follow suit and tweet about tipping in Doge on Twitter.
Yesterday, Twitter introduced a new feature, allowing users its mobile version to tip their favorite content makers in Ethereum. Last month, Twitter rolled out a Bitcoin tipping feature.
