Cardano Flips XRP To Become Seventh Largest Crypto by Market Cap
Cardano (ADA) has flipped Ripple (XRP) as the seventh largest cryptocurrency by the largest market cap. The trading volume of ADA is rising as it is up by 30% in the past 24 hours.
As per the latest data, ADA recorded 13.73% gains in the past week. Currently, ADA is the top-performing cryptocurrency among the top 20 assets. Amid the increased activity on the network with the Vasil release imminent, ADA was trading at $0.493.
After Ethereum, Cardano is the first protocol that’s launching a DeFi ecosystem largely without a venture capital (VC) leg up.
When compared with competitors, Cardano’s DeFi protocols operate independently.
Additionally, on 1st September, Robinhood announced that users would now be able to trade ADA and gain exposure to its spot price.
LunarCrush, marked the social activity on Cardano after the coin climbed as one of the top trending coins of the day.
Currently, ADA has one of the highest social scores among other cryptocurrencies. The Vasil release is the main reason due to the increasing attention Cardano is receiving.
In September, ADA also witnessed a lot of growth in social volume as online discussions increased.
