Cardano Becomes The Seventh largest Crypto And Surpassed Ripple and Terra
Bitcoin price jumped at $47K but shortly retraced around a thousand dollars. Currently, most of the altcoins are not stable apart from Cardano. ADA witnessed an impressive rally and again marked its position in the top seven largest digital assets by market cap.
A week ago, Bitcoin spiked from $45,000 to $48,000. It also swing above the latter and charted its highest price tag in three months.
Although, the leading Cryptocurrency was not able to hold on to its upward trend and consolidated between $47,000 and $48,000 for a few days. On Thursday and Friday, the Bitcoin price dropped and reached $44,000.
At this point, the bulls came into action and pushed the Bitcoin price up. Within a few hours, BTC had recovered most losses and was close to $47,000 once again. In the last 24 hours, Bitcoin witnessed another brief retracement, and it shot up above that particular level, but the bears intercepted the move and drove it south.
After the recent price turbulence, most altcoins have calmed. A few days ago, the second leading Cryptocurrency, Ethereum, recorded a three-month high above $3,500 and has remained around that level ever since.
Compared to larger cap alts, Binance Coin, Dogecoin, and Shiba Inu are slightly in the green. While Avalanche, Ripple, Terra, Solana, and CRO have produced minor price declines.
Among the top 10 digital assets, Cardano is the most substantial gainer with a near 5% daily increase. Also, it has become the seventh-largest cryptocurrency by market cap.
